DOM carbon steel tubing to ASTM A513 Type 5, from 0.188 to 2.5 inches outside diameter. Electric-resistance-welded tube is drawn over a mandrel, giving tight wall concentricity, a smooth bore and better machinability than plain ERW. Used for shock absorber bodies, steering columns, seat frames and cylinder sleeves.
