EN 10305-3 Welded Cold Sized Steel Tube
EN 10305-3 covers welded precision steel tube that is cold sized after welding but not drawn. It is the cost-effective choice when the outside diameter and wall are not as critical as on a cold-drawn tube, for spacers, bushes, shock absorber bodies, furniture and structural parts.

If the part is a sliding or pressure boundary, choose the welded cold drawn EN 10305-2 tube instead — the extra drawing pass gives a tighter and more uniform wall.

Each lot is tested for chemical composition, dimensions, surface and weld integrity. Straight lengths are bundled with end protection; small OD thin wall can be delivered as a welded tube coil.
